MONGU-LIMULUNGA ROAD

Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development Minister Hon. Eng. Charles Milupi on Sunday, September 25, 2022 inspected the ongoing works on the 16.7 Km stretch of the Mongu-Limulunga road.

The Minister was accompanied by RDA Western Province Regional Manager Eng. Paul Habasimbi, Engineer contracts Eng. Bob Gondwe and the contractor’s site manager Eng. David Zhan.

Hon. Eng. Milupi appreciated the works being executed on the concrete-lined drainage executed by local contractors. Physical progress on Mongu-Limulunga road currently stands at 40% with the following works done as shown in the table below.

The Minister emphasized on the need to have the project completed within this calendar so that it can be removed from the Road Sector Annual Work Plan and pave way for other projects within the Province.

He implored on both the contractor and the RDA to ensure that quality was not compromised.
