KEY COMPETENCIES AND EXPERIENCE

Dr. Mulenga is a seasoned Civil/Structural Engineer with vast experience in design and construction of infrastructure and facilities including roads, dams and buildings. He has commendable experience in education and training of construction related professionals at diploma, undergraduate and graduate levels. He has conducted several consultancy activities ranging from those dealing with geotechnical investigations and materials of construction to structural and condition surveys of civil engineering infrastructure and facilities and institutional reforms and industry innovation on materials of construction and practices. He has served at several levels ranging from boards and industry professional technical committees to technical assistance to the road and construction sector.

Dr. Mulenga is level headed, forward looking and continues to pursue challenges in the construction sector, particularly to ensure that road and other infrastructure are targeted towards the betterment of  livelihoods for Zambia and beyond, are deployed and function in a systematic, effective and efficient setting.  He continues to practice corporate governance in his activities and possesses outstanding interpersonal attributes.
