Chairperson for Committee of Chairpersons of Road Sector Agencies, Mr. Samuel Mukupa says Road Sector Agencies are moving in the right direction to improve their operational environments. Mr. Mukupa says there is, however, room to up the game so that the Road Agencies inspire public confidence in as far as Corporate image is concerned. Speaking during a conducted tour of Road Sector Agencies Operations at the Road Development Agency (RDA), National Road Fund Agency (NRFA) and Road Transport and Safety Agency (RTSA), Mr. Mukupa said the three sister Agencies had made remarkable progress in improving their operational environments from the time the team visited four months ago.

" We want our infrastructure to be well kept. Maintenance should be part of our DNA, clearness and repairs to our buildings should be part of our DNA to inspire stakeholders confidence," Mr. Mukupa said in an interview after touring RDA Lusaka Regional Office, newly built RTSA Headquarters and RTSA Lumumba offices in Lusaka

The committee accompanied by RDA, NRFA and RTSA managements also inspected RTSA Lumumba road offices.


Mr. Mukupa was accomplished by RTSA Board Chairperson Dr. Cornelius Chipoma and NRFA Board Vice Chairperson Mr. Kaitano Chungu who also echoed Mr. Mukupa's sentiments. The team later proceeded to Central, Copperbelt and later North Western provinces to check on the Road Sector Infrastructure and Operations.
