In order to enhance security and service delivery at Rueben Chitandika Kamanga and Alexander Grey Zulu Toll Stations in Eastern Province, the Road Development Agency (RDA) is undertaking the following works:

(i) Construction of one, three bedroomed houses at both the Rueben Chitandika Kamanga Toll Gate in Katete and the Alexander Grey Zulu Toll Gate. Works on the two houses are substantially completed.

(ii) Construction of the ablution blocks for clients and staff kitchens for toll collectors.

(iii) Construction of the car park and drive way.

The RDA is also mandated under the Tolls Act No. 14 of 2011 to administer and implement the National Tolling Programme and it has appointed the National Road Fund Agency (NRFA) as the Lead Tolls Agent.
